Genderová specifika bezdomovectví a jejich význam pro praxi sociální práce

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis entitled Gender Specifics of Homelessness and Their Significance for Social Work Practice focuses on the issue of homelessness among men and women and on the role of family relationships in their lives. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the role of family relationships in the lives of homeless men and women and, based on gender specifics, to formulate recommendations for social work practice. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of basic concepts related to homelessness as a social phenomenon and presents the typology of homelessness and its causes. It also deals with the concept of gender, the di>erence between sex and gender, and the importance of gender stereotypes. Attention is also paid to the family as a fundamental social institution and its influence on an individual's life. The empirical part is based on qualitative research conducted through semi- structured interviews with homeless men and women. The research focuses on the experiences of informants with family relationships both before the loss of housing and during the period of homelessness.

Bakalářská práce s názvem Genderová specifika bezdomovectví a jejich význam pro praxi sociální práce se zaměřuje na problematiku bezdomovectví mužů a žen a na roli rodinných vztahů v jejich životě. Cílem práce je analyzovat roli rodinných vztahů v životě mužů a žen bez domova a na základě genderových specifik formulovat doporučení pro praxi sociální práce. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení základních pojmů souvisejících s bezdomovectvím jako sociálním fenoménem, představuje typologii bezdomovectví a jeho příčiny. Dále se věnuje pojmu gender, rozdílu mezi pohlavím a genderem a významu genderových stereotypů. Pozornost je věnována také rodině jako základní sociální instituce a jejímu vlivu na život jednotlivce. Empirická část je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu realizovaném prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s muži a ženami bez domova. Výzkum se zaměřuje na zkušenosti informantů s rodinnými vztahy před ztrátou i v průběhu bezdomovectví.
