Pojetí milosrdenství v Písmu svatém a ve františkánské spiritualitě

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis entitled "The concept of mercy in the Bible and in Franciscan spirituality" explores the intersections between the understanding of mercy in the Old and New Testaments and in Franciscan spirituality, drawing on three selected documents: the Franciscan Sources, the Rule of the Third Order of Saint Francis, and the Constitutions of the School Sisters of Saint Francis. The study shows that all these sources present two fundamental movements of mercy: from God to the human person and from the human person to others. The thesis examines in greater depth the key events connected with the salvation of the people of Israel and the decisive moments in the conversion of Saint Francis. It also highlights the parallels between the parable of the Good Samaritan and Franciscan service to those in need, as well as the parallels between the parable of the Merciful Father and the attitude of mercy within the community of sisters and brothers.

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Pojetí milosrdenství v Písmu svatém a ve františkánské spiritualitě" hledá průsečíky mezi pojetím milosrdenství ve Starém a Novém zákoně a ve františkánské spiritualitě prostřednictvím studia tří vybraných dokumentů: Františkánských pramenů, Řehole Třetího řeholního řádu svatého Františka a Konstitucí Školských sester svatého Františka. Na základě studia těchto pramenů a odpovídající sekundární literatury docházíme k zjištění, že se ve všech zmíněných zdrojích nacházejí dva pohyby milosrdenství - od Boha k člověku a od člověka k druhým. Práce podrobněji rozpracovává jednak vybrané události spojené se záchranou izraelského lidu a momenty obrácení svatého Františka, jednak paralely mezi novozákonním podobenstvím o milosrdném Samaritánovi a františkánskou službou potřebným, a rovněž mezi podobenstvím o milosrdném otci a postojem milosrdenství vůči vlastním spolusestrám a spolubratrům.
