Abstract

The Thesis "Women and their testimonies of faith in the Gospel of John" describes the testimony of women about their encounter with Jesus in the Gospel of John. The women in the Gospel of John, whether their names are not mentioned, such as Jesus' mother, the Samaritan woman or the adulteress in the Jerusalem Temple, or those who are named, such as the sisters of Lazarus Martha and Mary, and Mary Magdalene, give a unique testimony of following Christ through their lives, which can be an inspiration for everyone. Práce "Ženy a jejich svědectví víry v Janově evangeliu" popisuje svědectví žen o setkání s Ježíšem v Janově evangeliu. Ženy v tomto evangeliu, a to jak v případě, že jejich jméno není zmíněno, jako u Ježíšovy matky, Samařanky nebo cizoložnice v Jeruzalémském chrámu, tak i těch, které nazývány jménem jsou, jako například sestry Lazara Marta a Marie či Marie z Magdaly, vydávají svým životem jedinečné svědectví o následování Krista, které může být inspirací pro každého.
