Zpráva zpoza Himalájí: Dokumentární cestopis z Nepálu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis introduces the culture and society of the South Asian country of Nepal. The main output is a twenty-two-minute radio montage, which constitutes the practical component of the thesis. The montage combines on-site audio recordings, interviews conducted in English and dubbed into Czech, and narrative commentary recorded in the studio. The presenter acts as a guide throughout the entire documentary. The recording includes elements of a reportage as well as sound and musical background noises, which lend authenticity to the listening experience and allow listeners to better visualize the situations described. The aim of the montage is to provide listeners with a comprehensive introduction to Nepal, its religion, culture and current social situation in an engaging format. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the chosen genre, its characteristics, and used radio techniques. The second chapter briefly describes the chosen topic from several key perspectives. The final chapter focuses on the methodology used to create the practical part. The theoretical section draws on information from academic literature and other available sources.

Tato bakalářská práce přibližuje kulturu a fungování jihoasijského státu Nepál. Hlavním výstupem je rozhlasová montáž o délce dvaceti dvou minut, která tvoří praktickou část práce. Montáž je kombinací zvukových záznamů z místa, rozhovorů v angličtině předabovaných do češtiny a narativních komentářů natočených ve studiu. Moderátorka v práci vystupuje jako průvodce celým dokumentem. Nahrávka obsahuje reportážní prvky a zvukové a hudební podkresy, které poslechu dodávají autentičnost a díky které si posluchači mohou lépe představit popisovanou situaci. Cílem montáže je atraktivní formou posluchači komplexně přiblížit Nepál, jeho náboženství, kulturu i současnou společenskou situaci. Teoretická část práce popisuje zvolený žánr, jeho náležitosti a použité rozhlasové postupy. Druhá kapitola stručně popisuje zvolené téma z několika hlavních hledisek. Poslední kapitola se věnuje metodologii tvorby praktické části. Teoretická část se opírá o informace z odborné literatury a dalších dostupných zdrojů.
