Mezigenerační pohled na domácí násilí v kontextu sociální práce

Abstract

This master's thesis is focused on intergenerational differences in the perception of domestic violence and attitudes towards seeking help between the baby boomer's generation and generation z. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how these two generations perceive the nature, causes, and forms of domestic violence. What attitudes they hold towards seeking help, and how they evaluate the role of institutions and social work in addressing this issue. The theoretical part defines basic concepts related to domestic violence, analyzes intergenerational aspects and the transmission of violent behavior between generations, maps the legislative and institutional framework for victim protection of the Czech Republic, and presents the specifics of social work in the field of domestic violence. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of baby boomers' generation and generation Z, their formative experiences, and values. The empirical part employs a qualitative research strategy in the form of semi - structured interviews with ten female respondents - five women from the baby boomer generation and five women from generation Z. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na mezigenerační rozdíly ve vnímání domácího násilí a postojích k hledání pomoci mezi generací baby boomers a generací Z. Cílem práce je analyzovat, jak tyto dvě generace vnímají podstatu, příčiny a formy domácího násilí, jaké postoje zaujímají k vyhledávání pomoci a jak hodnotí roli institucí a sociální práce při řešení této problematiky. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmy související s domácím násilím, analyzuje mezigenerační aspekty a přenos násilného chování mezi generacemi. Dále mapuje legislativní a institucionální rámec ochrany obětí v České republice a představuje specifika sociální práce v oblasti domácího násilí. Pozornost je věnovaná zejména charakteristikám generace baby boomers a generace Z, jejich formulujícím zkušenostem a hodnotám. Empirická část využívá kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s deseti respondentkami - pěti ženami z generace baby boomers a pěti ženami z generace Z. Data byla analyzovaná pomocí tematické analýzy podle Braun a Clarke. Výsledky výzkumu odhalily významné mezigenerační rozdíly ve vnímaní domácího násilí, v postojích k vyhledávání pomoci a ve znalosti systému ochrany obětí.
