This diploma thesis analyzes the issue of integrating pupils with a different mother tongue at primary schools in the Liberec Region and examines the relationship between state systemic support and actual school practice. A research probe was conducted using a structured questionnaire survey intended for primary school management, providing insight into the integration of foreign children in practice. The results of the thesis show that schools face a lack of qualified staff to lead the integration process in a comprehensive and systematic way. Simultaneously, the conducted probe suggests that primary schools in the Liberec Region struggle with frustration regarding unstable project funding, which accompanied the integration of foreign children in previous years when its funding was not firmly anchored in the state budget.
