Obec a přirozenost člověka v Aristotelově Politice

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines the relation between the polis and human nature in Aristotle's Politics. Its aim is to show how Aristotle understands the polis in connection with human nature, ethics and politics. The thesis first discusses the main foundations of Aristotle's political thought, especially his conception of nature and teleology, the internal connection between ethics and politics, and the place of the Politics within his practical philosophy. It then turns to the human being naturally political, the significance of logos, and the natural relations from which human community arises. The following part deals with the origin and character of the polis, political care for citizens, and the importance of friendship for the unity of the polis. The final part focuses on the concept of the citizen, the relation between citizen and the constitution, the distinction between the virtue of the citizen and the virtue of the good human, and Aristotle's evaluation of political regimes. The thesis therefore shows that Aristotle's political philosophy is closely connected with his anthropology, ethics, and teleological conception of nature. Bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem mezi obcí a přirozeností člověka v Aristotelově spise Politika. Jejím cílem je ukázat, jak Aristotelés spojuje výklad obce s pojetím lidské přirozenosti, etiky a politiky. Práce nejprve vykládá základní východiska Aristotelova politického myšlení, zejména pojetí přírody a teleologie, vnitřní spojení etiky a politiky a postavení spisu Politika v rámci Aristotelovy praktické filosofie. Poté se soustředí na člověka jako přirozeně politickou bytost, na význam logu a na přirozené vztahy, z nichž lidské společenství vyrůstá. Další část je věnována vzniku a povaze obce, výchově občanů a významu přátelství pro soudržnost polis. Závěrečná část práce se zaměřuje na pojem občana, vztah občana k ústavě, rozdíl mezi ctností občana a ctností dobrého člověka a na Aristotelovo hodnocení politických zřízení. Práce tak ukazuje, že Aristotelova politická filosofie je úzce spojena s jeho antropologií, etikou a teleologickým pojetím přírody.
