Textil ve svatovítském inventáři z roku 1354

Abstract

The thesis deals with historical textiles documented in the inventory of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague from 1354. It is the oldest surviving inventory of a Prague (arch)bishop's church and thus an absolutely unique source of information about, among other things, the spiritual and material culture of the historical centre of the diocese. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the reports on textiles recorded in the inventory, their possible identification and comparison with the current situation, but also with other contemporary European inventories of church institutions of similar importance. The work will also include a Czech translation of the Latin text of the inventory, based on the edition by Antonín Podlaha, and a glossary of specialised terms related to historical textiles.

Diplomová práce se zabývá historickým textilem doloženým v inventáři katedrály svatého Víta v Praze z roku 1354. Jedná se přitom o nejstarší dochovaný inventář pražského (arci)biskupského kostela vůbec, a tím také o absolutně unikátní zdroj informací mj. i o duchovní i materiální kultuře historického centra diecéze. Cílem diplomové práce je analýza zpráv o textilu, který je v inventáři zachycen, jeho případná identifikace a porovnání se současnou situací, ale také s ostatními dobovými evropskými inventáři církevních institucí podobného významu. Součástí práce bude také český překlad latinského textu inventáře na základě edice Antonína Podlahy a slovníček odborných pojmů vztahujících se k historickému textilu.
