Petra Nováková Title: Use of respiratory physiotherapy in patients after abdominal surgery Abstract: This bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of respiratory physiotherapy in patients after abdominal surgery in the early postoperative period. Abdominal surgical procedures represent a significant burden on the respiratory system and are associated with an increased risk of postoperative pulmonary complications. The aim of the thesis was to assess the effect of respiratory physiotherapy during hospitalization in patients after laparotomic surgical procedures. The practical part of the thesis is presented in the form of case studies of patients hospitalized at a surgical clinic in the early postoperative period. The physiotherapeutic intervention was primarily focused on respiratory physiotherapy. During therapy selected objective and subjective parameters evaluating respiratory function and tolerance of physiotherapeutic load were monitored, particularly peripheral oxygen saturation, chest expansion, subjectively perceived pain and dyspnea. Petra Nováková Název bakalářské práce: Využití respirační fyzioterapie u pacientů po břišní operaci Abstrakt bakalářské práce: Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím respirační fyzioterapie u pacientů po břišních operacích v časném pooperačním období. Břišní operační výkony představují významnou zátěž pro respirační systém a jsou spojeny se zvýšeným rizikem vzniku pooperačních dechových komplikací. Cílem práce bylo posoudit efekt respirační fyzioterapie během hospitalizace u pacientů po laparotomických operačních výkonech. Praktická část práce je zpracována formou kazuistik pacientů hospitalizovaných na chirurgické klinice v časném pooperačním období. Fyzioterapeutická intervence byla zaměřena především na respirační fyzioterapii. V průběhu terapie byly sledovány vybrané objektivní a subjektivní parametry hodnotící respirační funkce a toleranci fyzioterapeutické zátěže, zejména saturace periferní krve kyslíkem, dechová amplituda, subjektivně vnímaná bolest a dušnost. Výsledky práce naznačují, že aplikace respirační fyzioterapie v časném pooperačním období může vést ke zlepšení vybraných respiračních parametrů, snížení intenzity bolesti a dušnosti a ke zlepšení tolerance fyzioterapeutické zátěže.
