Dopady regulace alkoholu v České republice a ve Finsku

Abstract

This thesis examines the effects of the legal regulation of alcohol in the Czech Republic and Finland, particularly in relation to the social costs of alcohol consumption. The aim of this thesis is to compare, based on available sources, the differences in alcohol regulation and the social costs of alcohol consumption, considering the social context in both countries. The Czech Republic is presented as a country with a relatively liberal approach to alcohol regulation. Finland, by contrast, is presented as a country with a traditionally more restrictive regulatory model. The first chapter introduces alcohol and its effects on the human body. The second chapter explains the reasons for selecting the countries compared and further examines the historical development of alcohol regulation in both countries. The third chapter focuses on the social context of alcohol consumption. This chapter presents social attitudes towards alcohol consumption and patterns of alcohol consumption. This is followed by a comparison of the Czech Republic and Finland in these areas, identifying significant differences as well as similarities between the two countries. Tato práce se zabývá dopady právní regulace alkoholu v České republice a ve Finsku, a to zejména ve vztahu ke společenským nákladům jeho konzumace. Cílem práce je na základě dostupných zdrojů porovnat rozdílnou právní regulaci alkoholu a společenské náklady jeho konzumace s přihlédnutím ke společenskému kontextu v obou státech. Česká republika je v práci představena jako stát s poměrně liberálním přístupem k regulaci alkoholu. Finsko naopak představuje stát s tradičně restriktivnějším modelem regulace. Práce v první kapitole představuje alkohol a jeho účinky na lidský organismus. Druhá kapitola představuje důvody výběru srovnávaných států a dále se věnuje historickému vývoji regulace alkoholu v obou zemích. Třetí kapitola se věnuje společenskému kontextu konzumace alkoholu. V této kapitole jsou představeny společenské postoje ke konzumaci alkoholu a vzorce konzumace alkoholu. Následuje srovnání České republiky a Finska v těchto oblastech, které identifikuje podstatné rozdíly i podobnosti mezi oběma státy. Ve čtvrté kapitole je představen a porovnán současný přístup obou států k právní regulaci alkoholu.
