Minulost travinné vegetace a její poznávání na příkladu Třebíčska

Abstract

The Třebíč District is located at the junction of two distinct regions - southern Moravia and the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. Several sites of valuable grasslands are found within its area. This thesis examines the history of this type of vegetation in this otherwise neglected region. It focuses on changes in its extent and composition over time and presents the methods used to analyze these changes. It also addresses the question of the continuity between the current grasslands in the Třebíč region and the local grasslands of the early Holocene. It concludes that grasslands in the Třebíč region is sufficiently documented only from the early glacial period and from the early Middle Ages to the present. No evidence regarding the nature of vegetation in the Třebíč region is available from the Holocene climatic optimum. However, some indirect evidence may suggest continuity of grasslands in the Třebíč region. Key words: climatic optimum, grasslands, plant remains, Třebíč District

Okres Třebíč se nachází na styku dvou odlišných regionů - jižní Moravy a Českomoravské vrchoviny. Na území tohoto okresu se nachází několik lokalit cenné travinné vegetace. Tato práce se zaobírá minulostí travinné vegetace v tomto jinak opomíjeném regionu. Zaměřuje se na její proměny v průběhu času a popisuje metody, které se uplatňují při rekonstrukci jejího rozsahu a složení v minulosti. Zabývá se rovněž otázkou návaznosti současné travinné vegetace na Třebíčsku na zdejší travinnou vegetaci v raném holocénu. Práce dochází k závěru, že výskyt travinné vegetace na Třebíčsku je přímými doklady dostatečně podložen pouze v období časného glaciálu a od raného středověku do současnosti. Z holocénního klimatického optima žádné doklady o charakteru vegetace na Třebíčsku k dispozici nejsou. Na možnou kontinuitu travinné vegetace na Třebíčsku nicméně mohou poukazovat některé nepřímé doklady. Klíčová slova: klimatické optimum, okres Třebíč, travinná vegetace, zbytky rostlin
