Proměna sociálně prostorové struktury centra Prahy

Abstract

Pražské centrum prochází v postsocialistickém období významnými proměnami. Převážně v 90. letech 20. století probíhala v centru rozsáhlá komercializace. S nárůstem turistů se začala v oblasti centra projevovat také turistifikace. V centru se také odehrává proměna sociální struktury charakterizována převážně zahraniční migrací a změnou sociálního statusu obyvatel. Cílem práce je popsat, vysvětlit a porovnat vývoj počtu obyvatel pražského centra od roku 2001 a proměnu sociální struktury této oblasti na základě dat ze Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů z let 2001, 2011 a 2021. Prostorová diferenciace těchto proměn je sledována v pražském centru za katastrální území a základní sídelní jednotky. Ke komplexnějšímu pochopení diskutovaných proměn jsou vytvořeny grafy a mapy. The Prague city centre has undergone significant transformations during the post-socialist period. Extensive commercialization took place in the city centre, predominantly during the 1990s. With the increasing number of tourists, the area has also begun to experience the effects of touristification. In the meantime, the city centre is undergoing a transformation of its social structure, characterized mainly by international migration and changes in the social status of its inhabitants. The aim of this thesis is to describe, explain, and compare the population development of Prague city centre since 2001 and the transformation of the social structure of this area based on data from the 2001, 2011, and 2021 Population and housing censuses. The spatial differentiation of these changes is monitored across the city centre at the level of cadastral units and basic settlement units. To provide a more comprehensive understanding of the discussed transformations, graphs and maps have been created.
