Hegelova filosofie selhání

Abstract

Hegelova Fenomenologie ducha bývá čtena jako dílo, v němž se všechny jeho dialektické vrstvy - historická, ontogenetická, sociální, etická a pod tím vším logická - završují v absolutní syntéze ("absolutním Duchu"), jež zahlazuje všechny rozpory. Cílem této práce je vyložit Hegelovu Fenomenologii ducha jako ucelené dílo z perspektivy negativní složky této dialektiky, konkrétně jako dialektiku selhání, a prokázat její primát vůči tomuto scelujícímu toposu, resp. interpretačnímu mustru. Tato práce tak zaujímá specificky fenomenologickou perspektivu, aby ukázala, zaprvé, že jádrem zkušenosti hegelovského vědomí, resp. sebevědomí a vposled ducha (přinejmenším v tomto Hegelově díle) je selhání jako forma "aktivního omylu" (Hegelův termín), které je v práci koncipováno z výkladu dílčích pasáží Fenomenologie ducha i některých ranějších Hegelových textů jako zmařené úsilí subjektu ve snaze dospět k epistemické jednotě vjemu a věci. Pro výklad jednotlivých uzlových bodů Fenomenologie ducha, tzn. těch, v nichž se vědomí významně proměňuje (práce v zásadě ve výběru jednotlivých bodů kopíruje přechod mezi dílčími oddíly Fenomenologie) využívá autorka psychologizující tradici hegelianismu (zejm. Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit is often read as a work in which all of its dialectical layers - historical, ontogenetic, social, ethical, and (underlying all of these) logical - culminate in an absolute synthesis ("absolute Spirit") that resolves all contradictions. The aim of this thesis is to interpret Phenomenology of Spirit as a coherent work from the perspective of the negative component of this dialectic, specifically as a dialectic of failure, and, thus, to challenge the primacy of the unifying topos of absolute resolution and the respective interpretation. The author of this thesis, thus, adheres to a phenomenological perspective to show, first, that at the core of the experience of Hegelian consciousness, or self- consciousness, and ultimately of the spirit stands failure as a form of active error (Hegel's term), which is conceived in the thesis within the interpretation of selected passages of Phenomenology of Spirit as well as some of Hegel's earlier texts as the thwarted effort of Hegelian subject in its attempt to achieve epistemic unity of perception and thing.
