Komentovaný překlad vybraných kapitol z knihy "Trauernde Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung begleiten: Orientierungshilfe für Bezugspersonen" (2019) od Stephanie Witt-Loers.

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis presents an annotated translation of a selected chapter from the German specialist publication Trauernde Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung begleiten by Stephanie Witt-Loers. The translated chapter, Aspekte der Begegnung und Kommunikation, focuses on the support and accompaniment of bereaved individuals with disorders of intellectual development, with particular emphasis on verbal and non-verbal communication, emotional processing, and the role of empathy. The aim of the thesis is to produce a functionally equivalent Czech translation corresponding to a hypothetical translation brief. The thesis includes a translation commentary based on the functionalist model proposed by Christiane Nord, comprising an analysis of the source text, a description of the chosen translation method, and a reflection on selected translation problems and shifts. Special attention is paid to terminology and to the specific challenges involved in translating a specialist instructional text dealing with bereavement and the support of affected individuals.

Tato bakalářská práce předkládá komentovaný překlad vybrané kapitoly z německé odborné publikace Trauernde Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung begleiten od Stephanie Witt-Loersové. Překladem byla zvolena kapitola Aspekte der Begegnung und Kommunikation, zaměřená na doprovázení truchlících osob s poruchou vývoje intelektu, se zvláštním důrazem na verbální a neverbální komunikaci, práci s emocemi a význam empatie. Cílem práce je vytvořit funkčně ekvivalentní český překlad odpovídající hypotetické překladatelské zakázce. Součástí práce je překladatelský komentář založený na funkčně orientovaném modelu Christiane Nordové, zahrnující analýzu výchozího textu, popis zvolené metody a reflexi vybraných překladatelských problémů a posunů. Pozornost je věnována zejména terminologii a specifikům překladu odborně- instruktivního textu týkajícího se truchlení a podpory zasažených osob.
