(in English): This bachelor's thesis focuses on two-handed signs in Czech Sign Language and examines the iconic motivation of their two-handedness in relation to lexical plurality. The theoretical framework of the thesis is based on the study by Lepic et al. (2016), which analyzes two-handed signs in several unrelated sign languages and demonstrates systematic relationships between two-handedness, meaning, iconic motivation, and lexical plurality. The aim of the thesis is to replicate and adapt this study to Czech Sign Language and to verify whether the described tendencies are also present in this language. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses the typology of two-handed signs, the concept of iconicity, the process of iconic mapping, and lexical plurality as one of the main motivating factors of two-handedness in the lexicon of sign languages. The empirical part analyzes signs of Czech Sign Language drawn from an extended Swadesh list for sign languages and investigates how different types of semantic relationships are systematically mapped onto the two-handed form of signs. The results show that in Czech Sign Language, two-handedness is frequently associated with the expression of plurality and relationships between two or more entities, and that iconic strategies are not always...
