Vnímání etnické a občanské identity studenty a studentkami českých středních škol

Abstract

This diploma thesis examines the perception of a citizenship-based identity and an ethnic-based identity by Czech students of Czech secondary schools. The objective of this work is to investigate how Czech secondary school students perceive or distinguish between a citizenship-based and ethic-based identities in different types of Czech secondary schools and regions of the Czech Republic. The research part focuses on attributes in the perception of individuals of foreign citizenship, national minorities, civic and ethnic identity. The monitored factors influencing this perception included regional differences and the type of secondary school attended by students. The first research part focused on the analysis of mediated quantitative data regarding the number of foreign citizens and foreign nationals in the Czech Republic. The second part contains the processing of the qualitative and quantitative data, with the focus on Czech secondary school students. Quantitative data were obtained through a questionnaire containing questions aimed at the understanding of ethnic and civic identity. Tato diplomová práce sleduje vnímání občanské a etnické identity studenty a studentkami českých středních škol. Její cílem je vyzkoumat, jak studenti a studentky českých středních škol vnímají či rozlišují občanskou a etnickou identitu napříč různými typy českých středních škol a regiony Česka. Výzkumná část se zaměřuje na atributy ve vnímání osob cizí státní příslušnosti, národnostních menšin, občanské a etnické identity. Mezi sledované faktory ovlivňující tuto percepci byly zařazeny regionální odlišnost a typ střední školy studentů a studentek. První výzkumná část se soustředila na analýzu zprostředkovaných kvantitativních dat ohledně počtu osob cizí státní příslušnosti a národnostních menšin na území Česka. V druhé části se nachází zpracování vlastních kvalitativních a kvantitativních dat, přičemž středem zájmu jsou studenti a studentky českých středních škol. Kvantitativní data byla získána skrze dotazník, jehož obsahem byly otázky směřující k pojímání etnické a občanské identity. Kvalitativní část byla postavena na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech, které doplňovaly výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu.
