Konzervace a restaurování textilních tapet v historickém interiéru

Abstract

Conservation and restoration of textile based wall-coverings within historic interiors This bachelor's thesis focuses on the conservation and restoration of historic textile wallpaper. It will summarise the visual appearance of aristocratic interiors in the 18th and 19th centuries. It will outline upholstered finishes and windows treatments, which are part of the room decorations. This thesis explores textile wallpapers, textile wall- panel coverings, their development, production, types and installation technology. It will present a step by step case study of contemporary restoration practice, describing the refurbishment of the original Countess's apartments, in the Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague, which was Clam-Gallas Palace between 2021-2023. The purpose of the work is enlighten and to improve approaches to restoration and conservation. Bakalářská práce se zaměří na problematiku konzervace a restaurování historických textilních tapet. Nastíní vizuální podobu šlechtických interiérů 18. a 19. století. Popíše čalouněné doplňky a předměty užitého umění z textilních materiálů, které jsou součástí výzdoby pokojů. Detailněji se bude věnovat textilních tapetám, jejich vývoji, výrobě, druhům, technologii instalace. Krok za krokem provede případovou studii ze současné restaurátorské praxe, restaurování pokojů původního apartmánu hraběnky v Clam- Gallasově paláci v Praze realizované mezi lety 2021 až 2023. Smyslem práce je přiblížení problematiky a zlepšení restaurátorských a konzervátorských přístupů.
