Duchovní zkušenost důvěry Terezie Martinové v kontextu dnešní spirituality

Abstract

This thesis explores the role and nature of trust in spiritual theology, in the context of the spirituality of Therese of Lisieux and its relevance to the present day. The aim is to present how Teresa's experience of trust contributes to an understanding of the spiritual life in a contemporary context. The reflection on the notion of trust is set within the broader framework of the distinction between faith and trust, taking into account their spiritual-theological grounding. An analysis of the formative experiences of Therese of Lisieux and an interpretation of Pope Francis' exhortation C'est la confiance (2023) provide deeper insights into the role that trust played in Therese's life. The paper discusses the constitutive and interpretive sources of spiritual theology - that is, what emphases of trust can be found in Scripture and in selected authors of catholic spiritual tradition. Finally, the thesis considers the definition of contemporary spirituality and whether trust, especially as conceived by Therese of Lisieux, can respond to the needs of society in the current socio-cultural framework. The final chapter summarizes the results of the thesis.

Tato diplomová práce zkoumá roli a povahu důvěry ve spirituální teologii, v kontextu spirituality Terezie z Lisieux a její relevance pro současnost. Cílem je představit, jakým způsobem Tereziina zkušenost důvěry přispívá k porozumění duchovnímu životu v současném kontextu. Reflexe pojmu důvěry je zasazena do širšího rámce rozlišení mezi vírou a důvěrou, s ohledem na jejich spirituálně-teologické zakotvení. Analýza formativních zkušeností Terezie z Lisieux a výklad exhortace Papeže Františka C'est la confiance (2023) poskytuje hlubší pohled na to, jakou měla důvěra roli v životě Terezie. Práce pojednává o konstitutivních a interpretačních pramenech spirituální teologie - tedy jaké důrazy důvěry můžeme najít v Písmu a u vybraných autorů katolické duchovní tradice. Nakonec se práce zabývá vymezením současné spirituality a tím, zda může důvěra, především v pojetí Terezie z Lisieux, odpovědět na potřeby společnosti aktuálního sociokulturního rámce. Závěrečná kapitola shrnuje výsledky práce.
