Abstract

Adéla Šatalíková: Současné spolky pro podporu umění a umělců v Praze a jejich role ve společnosti Abstract The thesis will explore arts support societies in 2024, artists, their role in integrating the new artist into the visual arts scene, and finally the value of these organisations to society. I will begin by briefly describing the history and principles of arts support societies between 1950 and 2015, and in the following chapters I will look in more detail at a selection of five arts support societies. The societies that I discuss in detail in this thesis must meet the criteria of available studios (spaces for artists), organizing workshops, educational or financial support, exhibition activities, and community building. Next, I will delve deeper into the structure of the associations and their various activities described above, opening up topics such as the funding of these organizations and generally describing potential problems. I will conclude the thesis by summarizing the insights gained from my research, and ask the questions of whether the sample of organizations meet the given criteria of cultural contribution to society and support for young artists; what issues are present; and if solutions can be proposed. Adéla Šatalíková: Současné spolky pro podporu umění a umělců v Praze a jejich role ve společnosti Anotace Diplomová práce se bude zabývat průzkumem spolků na podporu umění v roce 2024, Bude se věnovat jejich rolí v procesu začleňování nového umělce do scény vizuálního umění, a v závěru také hodnotě těchto organizací pro společnost. Úvodem stručně popíšu historii a principy fungování spolků podporujících umělce v letech 1990-2015, v dalších kapitolách se budu detailněji věnovat vybraným pěti spolkům pro podporu umění. Spolky, které v práci detailněji rozebírám, musí splnit kritérium dostupných ateliérů (prostorů pro umělce), pořádání workshopů, edukativní nebo finanční podpory, výstavní činnosti a budování komunity. Dále se hlouběji ponořím do struktury fungování spolků a jejich jednotlivých výše popsaných činností, otevřu témata jako financování těchto organizací a obecně popíšu potenciální problémy. Závěr práce shrne poznatky získané z výzkumu a položím si otázky, zda vzorek organizací splňuje daná kritéria kulturního přínosu společnosti a podpory mladých umělců; jaké jsou zde problematiky a jestli lze navrhnout jejich řešení.
