Starozákonní citace prvních čtyř kapitol evangelia podle Matouše - jejich smysl a způsob použití

Abstract

This thesis offers insight into Old Testament intertextualities in the Gospel of Matthew. From the very beginning, the Gospel is a rich source of references, starting with the genealogy, which includes allusions to great figures from Old Testament history, whom the evangelist connects with the salvation brought by Jesus Christ. The Gospel is also saturated with numerous quotations from the prophets, the Psalms, and texts from the Torah. A high concentration of quotations and allusions is found in the first four chapters, where the evangelist refers to their fulfillment in Jesus Christ. A particularly unique theme is the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness before the beginning of his public ministry, during which he exchanges quotations with the devil. This thesis focuses on the meanings and interpretive functions of these quotations and allusions.

Evangelium podle Matouše je od samého začátku zdrojem odkazů, počínaje rodopisem, kde se nachází odkazy na veliké postavy starozákonních dějin, které evangelista spojil se spásou v Ježíši Kristu. Evangelium je také nasycené spoustou citátů z proroků, žalmů nebo textů z Tóry. Vysoká koncentrace citátů a narážek se nachází v prvních čtyřech kapitolách a evangelista v souvislosti s nimi hovořil o naplnění událostí Ježíšem Kristem. Zvláštní látku také tvoří pokušení Ježíše Krista na poušti před začátkem jeho veřejného vystupování. Citáty si navzájem vyměňuje s ďáblem. Práce se soustřední na významy těchto citací a narážek.
