Projevy bohyň staroegyptského panteonu v hrobkách Nové říše

Abstract

This thesis deals with the concept of the Ancient Egyptian tomb from the New Kingdom period and selected goddesses of the ancient Egyptian pantheon who acted as mothers of the deceased. The reader is first introduced to the issues of ancient Egyptian concept of motherhood and its connection with death, tombs and funerary equipment. This is followed by analytical section designed to introduce the four goddesses who acted as mothers of the deceased in the afterlife. Through synthesis, the unique manifestations of mother goddesses are then explained and are subsequently used to define the role of motherhood in the context of the New Kingdom tomb.

Práce se zabývá koncepcí staroegyptské hrobky z období Nové říše a vybranými bohyněmi staroegyptského panteonu, které stály v roli matek zesnulého. Čtenáři je nejprve předložena problematika staroegyptského pojetí mateřství a jeho spojení se smrtí, hrobkou a pohřební výbavou. Poté následuje analytická část, která má za úkol představit čtyři bohyně, které v zásvětí vystupovaly jako matky zesnulého. Prostřednictvím následné syntézy jsou pak předloženy jedinečné projevy mateřských bohyní, které jsou následně využity pro definování role mateřství v kontextu hrobky Nové říše.
