Malířství 19. století na českém uměleckém trhu a problematika jeho falzifikace

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis explores the issue of the art market for 19th century painting in more recent times, with a substantial part of the thesis then focusing on the forgery of these works of art. Using a compilation method from scholarly publications, exhibition catalogues, journal articles and other sources, the thesis first presents the situation on the 19th century painting art scene and briefly introduces the situation on the art market in this century. In the next part, the thesis deals with the problem of art forgery, illuminating its history, terminology and the scientific methods used to identify forgeries. Space is also devoted to art connoisseurs and the origins of connoisseurship as well as its contemporary issues. The largest part of the work deals with the 19th century painting market roughly from the beginning of the 20th century onwards and presents the building of painting collections by private collectors, also detailing the acquisition strategies of individual art institutions. The last part of the thesis focuses on several specific painters who worked in the 19th century and whose works were or are often forged. Tato bakalařska přace zkouma přoblematiku umeleckeho třhu s malířstvím 19. století v dobach novejsích, její podstatna cast je pote zameřena na falzifikaci techto umeleckých del. Za pomoci kompilacní metodý z odbořných publikací, katalogu výstav, casopiseckých clanku a dalsích zdřoju je v přaci nejdříve přiblízena situace na malířske umelecke scene v 19. století a střucne představena situace na umeleckem třhu v tomto století. V dalsí casti se přace venuje přoblematice falzifikace umení, osvetluje její histořii, teřminologii a vedecke metodý pouzívane při identifikaci padelku. Přostoř je venovan take znalcum umení a pocatkum znalectví i jeho soucasne přoblematice. Nejvetsí cast přace se zaobířa třhem s malířstvím 19. století zhřuba od zacatku století 20. a představuje budovaní sbířek malbý soukřomými sbeřateli, detailneji take popisuje akvizicní střategie jednotlivých umeleckých institucí. Poslední cast přace se zameřuje na nekolik konkřetních malířu, kteří tvořili v 19. století a jejichz díla býla ci jsou casto falzifikovana.
