Abstract

Summary: The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of information behavior of doctors, information needs and information sources. The theoretical part discusses the possibilities of obtaining information for the needs of doctors, what are the patterns of information behavior. Furthermore, one of the ways of obtaining information from respondents is defined here, namely the questionnaire system. A comparison of electronic and printed forms of questionnaires, their advantages and disadvantages are presented. An overview of information behavior abroad is given here based on two works, between 1997 and 2017. In the Czech environment, the topic of information behavior of doctors is not a frequent interest of research and therefore is not widely represented in the professional literature. The practical part presents the methodology for obtaining information via an electronic questionnaire. The research focused on the private segment and one regional health facility. The research intentionally did not focus on teaching hospitals, whose capabilities are different from non-faculty facilities, thanks to funding from the state budget. Bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice informačního chování lékařů, informačních potřebách a informačních zdrojích. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány možnosti, jak získávat informace pro potřeby lékařů, jaké jsou vzorce informačního chování. Dále je zde definován jeden ze způsobů, jak získat informace od respondentů, a to dotazníkový systém. Je uvedeno srovnání elektronické a tištěné formy dotazníků, jejich výhody a nevýhody. Je zde podán přehled o informačním chování v zahraničí na základě dvou prací, a to v rozmezí let 1997 - 2017. V českém prostředí není téma informačního chování lékařů častým zájmem výzkumu, a proto není ani široce zastoupeno v odborné literatuře V praktické části je uvedena metodika získání informací prostřednictvím elektronického dotazníku. Výzkum se zaměřil na soukromý segment a na jedno krajské zdravotnické zařízení. Záměrně se výzkum nezaměřoval na fakultní nemocnice, jejichž možnosti jsou odlišné od zařízeních nefakultních, díky financování ze státního rozpočtu. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření byly zpracovány a vyhodnoceny. Vzhledem k malému počtu respondentů v ambulantním sektoru byly výsledky pouze konstatovány, bez možnosti zobecnění na celý soukromý lékařský sektor.
