Abstract

This bachelor thesis presents the Czech translation of the introduction and the first chapter of the book This is Shakespeare by the English scholar Emma Smith. The translation is accompanied by an annotation that includes a translation analysis and a description of the most frequent and interesting translation problems and shifts that took place during the translation process. Tato bakalářská práce se skládá z překladu úvodní a první kapitoly knihy This is Shakespeare od anglické akademičky Emmy Smithové a následného komentáře. Ten zahrnuje překladatelskou analýzu daného úryvku a popis nejčastějších a nejzajímavějších překladatelských problémů a posunů, ke kterým při procesu překladu došlo.
