Abstract

The thesis describes the monetary policy in the Austrian monarchy in the period 1657 to 1740. It focuses on the circulation of German coinage and the steps taken to suppress it. Subtopics include the monetary systems of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Europe, the economy, numerical and monetary systems. The work is set between 1657-1740, i.e. the period of Leopold I's accession to the throne, through the reign of Joseph I. to Charles VI., with the necessary overlaps for better understanding of the subject

Práce se zabývá měnovou politikou v rakouské monarchii v období 1657 až 1740. Zaměřuje se na oběh německé mince a kroky vedoucí k jejímu potlačení. Z dílčích témat lze zmínit měnové systémy v Evropě 17. a 18. století, hospodářství, početní a měnové systémy. Práce je zasazená mezi roky 1657-1740 tedy do období nástupu Leopolda I. na český trůn přes dobu vlády Josefa I. až po Karla VI. s nezbytně důležitými přesahy pro porozumění dané problematiky.
