Muzejní knihovny a regionální literatura na příkladu Muzea Mladoboleslavska a Muzea Českého ráje v Turnově

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of museum libraries - important institutions in the process of creating and administering regional literature collections. The focus is on their roles in the region as generators and administrators of regional funds, promoters of regional awareness and sources of pride addressing (not only) the regional community. The aim of the thesis is to present the libraries of selected institutions - the Museum of the Mladá Boleslav Region and the Museum of the Bohemian Paradise in Turnov, to analyse their regional collections, especially in terms of their origin, thematic definition, processing and use. The analysis covers both the historical development of these collections and their current status or the role of regional collections in museum presentation and providing access to researchers. It also includes an investigation into how regionality as a concept is understood in relation to the public as a means of creating or strengthening the community's relationship to its region. Methodologically, the research part of the paper relied on a qualitative method in the form of a semi- structured interview with open-ended questions in combination with the available materials of the institutions. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá muzejními knihovnami, jenž představují významné instituce v oblasti tvorby a správy fondů regionální literatury. Pozornost je soustředěna na jejich role v regionu v pozici tvůrců a správců regionálních fondů, propagátorů regionálního povědomí a hrdosti směrem ke společnosti (nejen) v regionu. Cílem práce je představit knihovny vybraných institucí - Muzea Mladoboleslavska a Muzea Českého Ráje v Turnově, analyzovat jejich regionální fondy, zejména z hlediska vzniku, tematického vymezení, způsobu zpracování a využití. Analýza zahrnuje jak historický vývoj těchto fondů, tak jejich současný stav nebo roli regionálních fondů při muzejní prezentaci a badatelském zpřístupnění. Součástí je také šetření způsobu uchopení pojmu regionalita ve vztahu k veřejnosti, jakožto prostředku pro vytváření, případně posilování vztahu komunity ke svému regionu. Metodologicky výzkumná část byla provedena prostřednictvím kvalitativní metody v podobě polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s otevřenými otázkami v kombinaci s dostupnými materiály daných institucí. Respondenty byli správci knihovních fondů a muzejních sbírek obou knihoven. Na základě zjištěných informací byly vypracovány a vyhodnoceny dvě případové studie.
