Vzájemná korespondence Julia Zeyera a Josefa Štolby. Edice a literárněhistorický komentář

Abstract

This thesis examines the correspondence between Julius Zeyer and Josef Štolba from 1881 to 1900. The primary objective is to make the previously unpublished letters from the fonds of the Literary Archive of the Memorial of National Literature fully accessible. Furthermore, it aims to provide insight into the relationship between Zeyer and Štolba, as revealed through their correspondence. It focuses on the circumstances that may have contributed to their rapprochement or, conversely, their estrangement, primarily through the lens of Julius Zeyer and Josef Štolba as representatives of two different artistic worldviews in the late 19th century. The work consists of an introductory study that contextualises the authors' relationship, an edition of their mutual correspondence, a glossary, editorial notes, an annotated index of names, and a title index. Práce se zabývá vzájemnou korespondencí Julia Zeyera a Josefa Štolby z let 1881-1900. Cílem práce je v maximální možné úplnosti zpřístupnit dosud nepublikované dopisy uložené ve fondech Literárního archivu Památníku národního písemnictví. Mimoto usiluje osvětlit vztah Julia Zeyera a Josefa Štolby, jak se na pozadí korespondence jeví - snaží se postihnout okolnosti, které mohly vést k vzájemnému sblížení či naopak distanci, a to především na základě chápání Julia Zeyera a Josefa Štolby jako reprezentantů dvou odlišných tvůrčích stanovisek v posledních desetiletích 19. století. Práce sestává z úvodní studie přibližující vztah autorů, ze samotné edice vzájemné korespondence, dále obsahuje vysvětlivkový aparát, ediční poznámku, anotovaný jmenný rejstřík a rejstřík děl.
