Genderově podmíněné násilí v AČR

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on gender-based violence in individual units in the Czech Armed Forces. It provides an insight into the mutual position of women and men in the Czech Army and the state of their gender equality. In the theoretical part, the thesis explains the gendered nature of the army and also situates it within the broader sociological framework of male domination. In the Czech context, it focuses on the professional reflection on women's entry into the army, as well as on the different types and levels of discrimination not only against women but also against men. In the empirical part, apart from the description of the methodology, the thesis also deals with the analysis of semi-structured interviews with selected female members of the Armed Forces and a qualitative analysis of this environment is carried out with the help of the analysis of Ministry of Defence documents dealing with the issue. The aim is to identify specific inequalities, sexism or discrimination of female members that can be observed but not heard in the units of the Armed Forces. In the future, it will be easier to focus on the means to eliminate and "erase" gender prejudices, stereotypes and overall attitudes towards women, but also towards men, in the Czech Armed Forces. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na genderově podmíněně násilí na jednotlivých útvarech v AČR. Poskytuje náhled vzájemného postavení žen a mužů v Armádě České republiky a náhled na stav jejich genderové rovnosti. V teoretické části je v práci vysvětlena genderovanost armády a taktéž její zasazení do širšího sociologického rámce mužské nadvlády. V českém kontextu je zaměřena na odborné reflexi vstupu žen do armády, taktéž na různé druhy a úrovně diskriminace nejen ženského, ale i mužského pohlaví. V Empirické části, se kromě popisu metodologie, práce také zabývá analýzou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vybranými příslušnicemi/příslušníky AČR a za pomoci analýzy dokumentů Ministerstva obrany, které se danou problematikou zabývají, je provedena kvalitativní analýza tohoto prostředí. Cílem je zjištění konkrétních nerovností, sexismu či diskriminace příslušnic/příslušníků, které lze na útvarech AČR vypozorovat, ale není o nich slyšet. Do budoucna, tak bude snazší se zaměřit na prostředky k jejímu odstranění a ,,vymazat'' genderové předsudky, stereotypy a celkově postoje k ženám, ale i k mužům, v AČR.
