Cílem je otestovat potenciál a vyhodnotit úinnost metod time series clusteringu při analýze vegetaního pokryvu. Analýza byla provedena na území o rozloze přibližně 80 kmš, které zahrnuje různorodé vegetaní formace - jehlinaté, listnaté a smíšené lesy, rašeliniště, louky, traviny a oblasti umělé obnovy lesa. Data byla zpracována v cloudovém prostředí Google Earth Engine a v desktopovém nástroji ArcGIS Pro a Visual Studio Code. Družicové snímky byly podrobeny filtraci oblanosti pomocí algoritmu CloudScore+ a následně byl vypoten soubor vegetaních indexů (NDVI, EVI, NDMI, MSAVI, TCW, wNDII, NDRE, NDSI) a biofyzikálních parametrů (fAPAR a LAI). asové řady byly doplněny lineární interpolací a dále analyzovány pomocí algoritmů K-Means a K-Medoids s využitím euklidovské i DTW metriky. Shluky byly vyhodnoceny pomocí silhouette skóre, terénního průzkumu a ortofoto snímků. Výsledky potvrdily, že multivariantní přístup - především kombinace vegetaních indexů TCW, EVI a NDVI - dosahuje vyšší klasifikaní přesnosti a generuje homogennější a lépe interpretovatelné shluky než univariantní varianty. Výsledné shluky asto obsahují různé...
This thesis focuses on the classification of vegetation cover in the Ore Mountains using time series clustering methods applied to Sentinel-2 satellite data. The aim is to test the potential and evaluate the effectiveness of time series clustering techniques for vegetation cover analysis. The analysis was conducted over an area of approximately 80 kmš, which includes diverse vegetation formations such as coniferous, deciduous, and mixed forests, peatlands, meadows, grasses, and areas of artificial forest regeneration. Data were processed using the cloud-based platform Google Earth Engine and desktop tools ArcGIS Pro and Visual Studio Code. Satellite imagery was filtered for cloud cover using the CloudScore+ algorithm, followed by the calculation of a set of vegetation indices (NDVI, EVI, NDMI, MSAVI, TCW, wNDII, NDRE, NDSI) and biophysical parameters (fAPAR and LAI). Time series were completed using linear interpolation and analyzed using K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms with both Euclidean and DTW distance metrics. The resulting clusters were evaluated using silhouette scores, field surveys, and orthophoto imagery. The results confirmed that the multivariate approach4particularly the combination of TCW, EVI, and NDVI indices 3 achieves higher classification accuracy and produces more homogeneous...
