Shrnutí nových poznatků o nedospělých stádiích zlatohlávků (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Cetoniinae)

Abstract

The immature stages of the insects are not the main focus of most entomologists. It is not different with rose chafer beetles (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae). Šípek & Král (2012) in their summary article about the immature stages of rose chafer beetles reveal that larvae of only 194 species in 107 genera out of the total 4300 rose chafer beetles species and 485 genera were described by the year 2012. This thesis aims to summarize the current knowledge on the immature stages of the rose chafer beetles and thus update the aforementioned article. The first part of this thesis focuses on introducing rose chafer beetles as a taxonomic group and their way of life. In the second part I introducetheir traditional classification as well as the many differing opinions on this topic. This section is then followed by a chapter dedicated to the current knowledge on the rose chafer phylogeny according to morphological and molecular analysis. At the end of this thesis I list individual studies which expand our knowledge on larval stages of rose chafer beetles. Besides morphological studies I have also included those describing ecology, microbiome or ontogenesis and growth of rose chafer beetles larvae. All discovered data is included in the table. Nedospělá stadia hmyzu tradičně stojí v pozadí zájmu entomologů. Nejinak je tomu i u zlatohlávků (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae). Šípek & Král (2012) ve své souhrnné práci o nedospělých stadiích zlatohlávků uvádí, že z celkových cca 4300 druhů a 485 rodů, bylo k roku 2012 popsáno 194 druhů larev v 107 rodech a 14 tribech zlatohlávků. Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl shrnout nové poznatky o nedospělých stadiích zlatohlávků a navázat na výše zmíněnou studii. První část práce je zaměřena na představení skupiny zlatohlávků a jejich způsobu života. V druhé části se pak věnuji jejich tradiční klasifikaci a pohledu různých autorů na ni. Následuje část zaměřená na fylogenezi zlatohlávků z pohledu morfologické a molekulární analýzy. V poslední části uvádím jednotlivé práce, které rozšiřují poznatky o larválních stadiích zlatohlávků. Kromě klasických morfologických prací zde zařazuji i práce týkající se ekologie, mikrobiomu, ontogeneze a růstu larev. Zjištěné údaje uvádím v tabulce. Od roku 2012 byly popsány larvy 34 druhů zlatohlávků z 22 rodů a 8 tribů. Celkově tedy počet popsaných larválních stadií zlatohlávků (Cetoniinae) vzrostl na 228 druhů patřících do 15 tribů.
