Depresivní prožitky: Validizace DEQ dle Sidney Blatta

Abstract

The thesis presents the initial psychometric validation of the Czech version of the Depressive Experiences Questionnaire (DEQ-CZ), a self-report instrument based on Sidney Blatt's theoretical model of depression. The DEQ assesses personality dimensions associated with vulnerability to depression, specifically Dependency and Self-Criticism, with Efficacy included as a third theoretically derived factor. The main aim of the study was to assess the factorial structure, internal consistency, and construct validity of the DEQ-CZ in a non-clinical adult sample. The results support the structural and psychometric adequacy of the DEQ-CZ. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses provided evidence for a three-factor solution congruent with the original model. The subscales demonstrated acceptable internal consistency, and intercorrelations were consistent with theoretical expectations. These findings support the use of the DEQ-CZ as a valid and reliable instrument useful for both research and clinical assessment. Tato práce představuje prvotní psychometrickou validaci české verze Dotazníku depresivních prožitků (DEQ-CZ), sebehodnotícího nástroje založeného na teoretickém modelu deprese Sidney Blatta. DEQ hodnotí osobnostní dimenze spojené s náchylností k depresi, konkrétně Závislost a Sebekritičnost, přičemž jako třetí teoreticky odvozený faktor je zahrnuta Účinnost. Hlavním cílem studie bylo posoudit faktorovou strukturu, vnitřní konzistenci a konstruktovou platnost DEQ-CZ na neklinickém vzorku dospělých. Výsledky potvrdily strukturální i psychometrickou vhodnost DEQ-CZ. Explorační a konfirmační faktorová analýza poskytly důkazy pro třífaktorové řešení shodné s původním modelem. Subškály vykazovaly přijatelnou vnitřní konzistenci a vzájemné korelace odpovídaly teoretickým očekáváním. Tato zjištění podporují využití DEQ-CZ jako platného a spolehlivého nástroje užitečného pro výzkum i klinické hodnocení.
