Empirická část vychází z auditní experimentální metody a srovnává skóre přidělená lidskými hodnotiteli a několika AI modely. This thesis addresses the issue of bias in recruitment processes, in the context of the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLM). The aim of our pilot research was to test whether differences in the perceived suitability of fictitious job candidates in the Czech environment occur depending on gender, ethnicity, attractiveness and age, and between human and algorithmic assessments. The empirical part is based on an audit experimental method and compares the scores assigned by human raters and several AI models. Although the hypotheses were not statistically confirmed, moderate to strong effect sizes were observed, suggesting the practical relevance of the differences. The results show that most AI tools tended to rate candidates more favorably than humans, and that there were differences between AI systems as well. In contrast, the bias rate was low in the sample of human raters, which may be related to the specifics of the sample. The study offers a methodological framework for future research on bias in the Czech context and highlights the importance of ethical and responsible implementation of AI in recruitment. Key words: bias in recruitment, artificial intelligence, algorithmic decision making
