Pocity osamělosti dětí v dětských domovech

Abstract

(in English): The subject of investigation in this master's thesis is the feelings of loneliness among children in residential care. The thesis aims, through qualitative research utilizing semi- structured interviews, to explore, examine, and analyse feelings of loneliness in children and adolescents residing in residential care facilities. The research seeks to allow respondents to subjectively evaluate and describe the presence of these feelings in their lived reality. In the theoretical section, the thesis will focus on analysing relevant literature sources, particularly on identifying and describing factors that may influence feelings of loneliness. It will provide a deeper understanding of psychosocial challenges faced by children in institutional settings. The work will also offer insights into institutional upbringing and elucidate who the clients are and why they are placed in such care. Based on the acquired knowledge, the thesis will analyse existing recommendations for practice and interventions aimed at improving the emotional and social well-being of children in residential care. Following the data collection from the research, new recommendations will be formulated.

(česky) Předmětem zkoumání diplomové práce jsou pocity osamělosti u dětí v dětských domovech. Práce si klade za cíl prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu, metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, nalézt, prostudovat a analyzovat pocity osamělosti u dětí a adolescentů v dětských domovech a respondentům umožnit subjektivně zhodnotit a popsat přítomnost těchto pocitů v jejich prožívání reality. V teoretické části se práce zaměří na analýzu relevantních zdrojů literatury, především pak na identifikaci a popsání faktorů, které mohou ovlivňovat pocity osamělosti, a poskytne hlubší porozumění psychosociálním výzvám, jimž čelí děti v institucionálním prostředí. Práce poskytne i vhled do ústavní výchovy a kteří klienti a proč jí mají nařízenou. Na základě získaných poznatků budou také analyzována současná doporučení pro praxi a intervence, které mohou přispět ke zlepšení emocionálního a sociálního blaha dětí v dětských domovech a po sběru dat z výzkumu formulována i nová doporučení.
