Pohřební zvyky v oblasti Ochridského jezera v době římské

Abstract

The thesis deals with funeral customs in the Ohrid region in the period from the turn of the 2nd century BC to the 6th century AD. Its aim is to summarize and present the development of funerarypractices - that is,funeraryritual,funeraryarchitecture andfuneraryequipment during the giventime frame and to point out any changes that mayhave been caused by power changes in the region. It also aims to add to the state of research on this period in the region, which has been neglected at the expense of more 'attractive' eras.The results show both the continuityof some practices, such as the choice of inhumation burial rite as well as the transformation that are manifested in the funerary architecture of the burial units or their material equipment. Diplomová práce se zabývá pohřebními zvyky v Ochridském regionu v období od přelomu 3. a 2. století př.n.l.po6. století n.l. Jejím cílem je shrnout a představit vývoj pohřebníchpraktik - tedy pohřebního ritu, pohřební architekturu a pohřební výbavu v průběhu daného časového rámce a poukázat na případné změny, které mohly být způsobeny mocenskou změnou v regionu. Kladla si také za cíl doplnit stav bádání tohoto období v regionu, které je na úkor "atraktivnějším" epochám opomíjeno. Výsledky ukazují jak kontinuitu některých praktik, například volbu kostrového pohřebního ritu, jakož i proměny, které se projevují v pohřební architektuře hrobových celků nebo jejich materiální výbavě.
