Výsledky přispějí ke zlepšení identifikace signálů v analýzách Belle II a podporují budoucí výzkum rozpadů τ leptonu. 1
This thesis focuses on the reconstruction efficiency of neutral pions (π0 ) in τ lepton decays within the Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB collider. Using Monte Carlo simulations, specifically the MC15RD dataset, we analyze τ → 3π(Nπ0 )ντ decay modes, where N = 0, 1, or 2, with a 1-prong leptonic tag side. Seven different π0 reconstruction selections are compared, including recommended selections for the study of B-decays, τ-optimized selections, and multivariate selections developed for specific physics analyses. For each selection, both overall and separated efficiencies are evaluated to assess the performance of detecting single and multiple π0 events. The results contribute to improving signal identification in Belle II analyses and help future studies of τ lepton decays. 1
