Cheng Xiaoqingovy detektivní příběhy

Abstract

Bakalářská práce představuje detektivní příběhy čínského spisovatele Cheng Xiaoqinga 程小青 (1893-1976) a sleduje souvislosti mezi spisovatelovými pojednáními o detektivní literatuře a vlastní tvorbou, povídkami z desátých až čtyřicátých let 20. století. Práce se zaměřuje na narativní strategie a postupy, jakými autor vyprávění zábavných příběhů propojuje s poučováním či "vzděláváním" dobových čtenářů, a porovnává významotvorné funkce dvojice hlavních protagonistů Huo Sanga 霍桑 a Bao Langa 包朗 s funkcemi postav Sherlocka Holmese a dr. The bachelor's thesis presents the detective stories of the Chinese writer Cheng Xiaoqing 程小青 (1893-1976) and traces the connections between the writer's treatises on detective literature and his own work, short stories from the 1910s to the 1940s. The thesis focuses on the narrative strategies and procedures by which the author combines the telling of entertaining stories with giving a lesson to or "educating" contemporary readers and compares the meaning-making functions of the pair of main protagonists Huo Sang 霍桑 and Bao Lang 包朗 with the functions of the characters Sherlock Holmes and dr.
