Transformace Fridays for Future v Německu: Od klimatického aktivismu k boji proti krajní pravici?

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá transformaci tematických priorit hnutí Fridays for Future Německo (FFF Německo) v letech 2019-2024, přičemž se zaměřuje na otázku, zda došlo k posunu agendy od klimatického aktivismu směrem k boji proti krajní pravici. Práce vychází z kvalitativní obsahové analýzy 149 tiskových zpráv vydaných FFF Německo, které představují oficiální komunikační kanál hnutí. Analýza byla provedena pomocí softwaru NVivo skrze smíšenou metodu kódování. Výsledky ukazují, že ačkoli FFF Německo reagovalo na společenský vývoj a do své agendy začlenilo témata související s odporem vůči krajní pravici, ochrana klimatu a klimatická spravedlnost zůstaly ústředními body agendy. Posun směrem k boji proti krajní pravici proto nelze považovat za ústřední proměnu hnutí, ale spíše za výraz tematické diverzifikace v reakci na měnící se společenský a politický kontext. Práce přispívá k hlubšímu pochopení dynamiky klimatických hnutí ve stále více polarizované společnosti a zabývá se významem jejich snahy o kontinuitu a legitimitu.

This bachelor's thesis examines the transformation of thematic priorities of the Fridays for Future Germany (FFF Germany) movement between 2019 and 2024, focusing on the question of whether there has been a shift in the agenda from climate activism towards the fight against the far-right. The thesis is based on a qualitative content analysis of 149 press releases issued by FFF Germany, which constitute the movement's official communication channel. The analysis was conducted using NVivo software through a mixed-method coding approach. The results show that although FFF Germany has responded to social developments and incorporated themes related to resistance to the far-right, climate protection and climate justice have remained central to its agenda. The shift towards the fight against the far-right cannot be seen as a central transformation of the movement, but rather as an expression of thematic diversification in response to the changing social and political context. The thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of climate movements in an increasingly polarised society and explores the significance of their efforts for continuity and legitimacy.
