Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the Brazilian minority in Japan and examines issues of identity among Japanese Brazilians. The introductory chapters provide a general overview of migration theory and the status of ethnic minorities in Japanese society. The following chapters delve into the historical and cultural context of migration between Japan and Brazil, analyze the lives of the Brazilian minority in Japan, and examine the hardships these immigrants face. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na brazilskou menšinu v Japonsku a zkoumá otázky identity japonských Brazilců. V úvodních kapitolách představuje teorii migrace a obecné postavení etnických menšin v japonské společnosti. Následující kapitoly se věnují specifickému historickému a kulturnímu kontextu migrace mezi Japonskem a Brazílii, popisují život brazilské menšiny v Japonsku a analyzují výzvy, kterým tito přistěhovalci čelí.
