Komentovaný překlad kapitoly Dancing through the ages z knihy Pata Murphyho Toss the Feathers (Cork: Mercier Press, 1995)

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The first part contains a Czech translation of a section from the chapter Dancing through the Ages in Pat Murphy's book Toss the Feathers. The second part focuses on a translation analysis of the text, taking into account both extratextual and intratextual factors. It describes the methods chosen for the translation and discusses the translation issues encountered during the process.

Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Obsahem první části je překlad části kapitoly Dancing through the ages z knihy Pata Murphyho Toss the Feathers do češtiny. Druhá část se zabývá překladatelskou analýzou textu z hlediska vnětextových a vnitrotextových faktorů, popisuje metody zvolené při překladu a rozebírá překladatelské problémy, ke kterým při překladu došlo.
