Státní znak ČSSR v kontextu utváření státní symboliky evropských socialistických zemí

Abstract

The thesis deals with the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, which was used as its symbol since the adoption of the "socialist constitution" in 1960 in connection with the proclaimed achievement of socialism in Czechoslovakia. It will deal with the professional, political, and social debates that accompanied the adoption of the socialist symbol and which were then conducted in the following periods until the end of the state socialist regime. The issue will be examined in the context of the formation, transformation, or political and social reflection of the state symbol in the case of other socialist countries, namely Poland, Yugoslavia, and the GDR. Examples of urban heraldry will also be included, illustrating the approaches of each country to reconciling state socialism with historical continuity and heraldic traditions. The purpose of comparing the developments in other European socialist countries with those in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic will be to examine the parallels, similarities, and national specificities of the various "socialist heraldic" heraldries and then to classify specific symbols into archetypal categories, particularly according to their visual form. Práce se zabývá státním znakem Československé socialistické republiky, který sloužil jako její symbol od přijetí "socialistické ústavy" roku 1960 v souvislosti s proklamovaným dosažením socialismu v Československu. Bude se zabývat odbornými, politickými i společenskými diskusemi, které přijetí socialistického symbolu provázely a které pak byly vedeny i v následujících obdobích až do konce státně socialistického režimu. Problematika bude sledována v kontextu utvoření, proměn a politicko-společenské reflexe státní symboliky v případě dalších socialistických zemí. Zahrnuty budou rovněž příklady městské heraldiky dokreslující přístupy jednotlivých zemí ke sblížení státního socialismu s historickou kontinuitou a heraldickými tradicemi. Účelem srovnání vývoje v jiných evropských socialistických zemích s vývojem v ČSSR bude zkoumat paralely, obdobné rysy i národní specifika jednotlivých "socialistických heraldik" a následně zařadit konkrétní symboly do archetypálních kategorií zejména podle jejich vizuální podoby. Práce se rovněž pokusí zjistit, zda mezi jednotlivými socialistickými zeměmi docházelo na poli heraldiky ke spolupráci a inspiraci při tvorbě nových socialistických symbolů.
