Motiv smrti v díle Františka Halase

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the motif of death in selected poetry collections by František Halas. The first part of the thesis offers a summary of poetics of the period at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. Attention is primarily given to specific phenomena which were symptomatic of the urgent contemporary need to reflect the crisis of the subject. The second part of the thesis contains analyses of the poetry collections Sépie, Kohout plaší smrt and Tvář. Emphasis is placed on exploring the forms of the poetic image of death. The pursuit of the poetics of death in the work of Halas is rooted in a constant confrontation with critical discourse. The aim of the thesis is to capture the nature and forms of the motif of death in the work of Halas, and thus to approach death as a characteristic motivic constant in the work of František Halas.

Bakalářská práce nabízí analýzu motivu smrti ve vybraných básnických sbírkách Františka Halase. První část práce poskytuje krátká zastavení nad poetikou období přelomu dvacátých a třicátých let 20. století. Pozornost je přitom upřena především k uchopení jednotlivých fenoménů jako symptomů naléhavé dobové potřeby reflektovat krizi subjektu. Druhá část práce v sobě soustředí analýzy jednotlivých básnických knih, a to Sépie, Kohout plaší smrt a Tvář. Důraz je při analýzách kladen na prozkoumání podob básnického obrazu smrti, přičemž sledování poetiky smrti v Halasově tvorbě je založeno na neustálé konfrontaci se soudobou i současnou oborovou diskusí. Cílem práce je zachytit povahu a podoby motivu smrti v Halasově tvorbě, a přiblížit tak smrt jako příznačnou motivickou konstantu Halasova díla.
