Systematický přehled dyadických muzikoterapeutických intervencí pro osoby s demencí a jejich neformální pečující

Abstract

This paper focuses on dyadic music-based interventions for people with dementia and their informal carers. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the topic of dementia, its prevalence and symptoms. It briefly introduces pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options for dementia. In the following chapters, it provides a definition of music therapy and music interventions. It discusses the impact of music on physiological processes and on behavioural and cognitive symptoms of dementia. It also presents the benefits of using music in the treatment of dementia. It addresses the topic of care for people with dementia, presenting the specifics of informal care and caregiving burden. The theoretical part concludes with the dyadic approach, its specifics and possibilities and briefly introduces the legislative framework of care for persons with dementia in the Czech Republic. The aim of the research part of the thesis is to create a scoping review of the available literature on the topic of dyadic music-based interventions. The review follows the PRISMA-ScR standards and provides answers to what types of interventions exist, what outcomes are addressed and what are their results. Tato práce se věnuje dyadickým muzikoterapeutickým intervencím pro osoby s demencí a jejich neformální pečující. Teoretická část práce se věnuje tématu demence, její prevalenci a symptomům. Krátce představuje možnosti farmakologické a nefarmakologické léčby demence. V další kapitolách poskytuje definici muzikoterapie a hudebních intervencí. Věnuje se vlivu hudby na fyziologické procesy a na behaviorální a kognitivní symptomy demence. Představuje také výhody využití hudby v léčbě demence. Dále se věnuje tématu péče o osoby s demencí, přibližuje specifika neformální péče a pečovatelské zátěže. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje dyadickému přístupu, jeho specifikům a možnostem a krátce představuje legislativní rámec péče o osoby s demencí v ČR. Cílem výzkumné části práce je vytvořit scoping review dostupné literatury věnující se tématu dyadických muzikoterapeutických intervencí. Přehled se řídí standardy PRISMA-ScR a poskytuje odpovědi na to, jaké druhy intervencí existují, jakým výstupům se věnují a jaké jsou jejich výsledky.
