Abstract

5 Abstract The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify the support provided for the employment of people with disabilities on the free labour market in the Czech Republic. The thesis first defines the fundamental concepts related to disability and the legislative frameworks, regulations and strategic documents protecting persons with disabilities. The role of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic in the field of employment of persons with disabilities is also discussed. Furthermore, it addresses the approaches through which disability and people with disabilities can be considered, including different theoretical models of disability. The thesis also explores the benefits of employing people with disabilities from the perspective of individuals, employers and society and analyses their position in the labour market in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the thesis examines the overall system of support for employment of people with disabilities, in particular forms of support such as vocational rehabilitation, employment counselling and requalification. The thesis concentrates on forms of support for people with disabilities, both in relation to the individuals with disabilities themselves and to employers. 4 Abstrakt Cílem bakalářské práce je identifikace poskytované podpory zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením na volném trhu práce v České republice. Práce se nejprve věnuje vymezení základních pojmů souvisejících se zdravotním postižením a legislativním rámcům, právním předpisům a strategickým dokumentům chránících osoby se zdravotním postižením. Věnuje se také úloze Úřadu práce České republiky v oblasti zaměstnanosti osob se zdravotním postižením. Dále se zaměřuje na přístupy, kterými lze na postižení a osoby se zdravotním postižením nahlížet, včetně různých teoretických modelů zdravotního postižení. Práce se rovněž zabývá přínosy zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením z pohledu jednotlivce, zaměstnavatelů i společnosti a analyzuje jejich postavení na trhu práce v České republice. Následně se práce věnuje celkovému systému podpory zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením, zejména formám podpory jako je pracovní rehabilitace, pracovní poradenství a rekvalifikace. Práce se zaměřuje na formy podpory pro osoby se zdravotním postižením, a to jak ve vztahu k samotným osobám se zdravotním postižením, tak k zaměstnavatelům.
