Kontrastive Analyse ausgewählter Phraseologismen am Beispiel des Buches Momo von Michael Ende und seiner tschechischen Übersetzung

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the contrastive analysis of selected set phrases used in the book Momo by Michael Ende and in its Czech translation by Milada Misárková. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is aimed at introducing the field of phraseology and defining all concepts that are relevant for the subsequent empirical part. This section discusses also the theory of translation in the field of phraseology. Very briefly is also mentioned the attitude towards phraseology in children's literature. In the practical part, attention is devoted to selected phraseological units used both in the original and in the translation of the book, which are then subjected to a thorough analysis using dictionaries or further research of corpora or online texts. The thesis provides a comprehensive picture of the phraseological units used in this work and an assessment of the suitability of the use of these units in particular parts in a translated book and alternatively suggests another solution for the translation.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kontrastivní analýzou vybraných frazeologismů užitých v knize Momo od Michaela Ende a v jejím českém překladu Děvčátko Momo od Milady Misárkové. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část je zaměřena na uvedení do problematiky lingvistické disciplíny frazeologie a vymezení všech pojmů, které jsou relevantní pro následnou empirickou část. Tento oddíl pojednává také o teorii překladu v oblasti frazeologie. Velmi krátce je zmíněn i postoj k frazeologii v dětské literatuře. V části praktické je pozornost věnována konkrétním frazeologickým jednotkám, které jsou následně podrobeny důkladné analýze s využitím slovníků, dalších rešerší korpusů či internetových textů. Práce přináší souhrnný obraz o užitých frazeologických jednotkách v tomto díle s posouzením vhodnosti využití daných jednotek v konkrétních situacích v českém vydání knihy, případně návrh jiné možnosti překladu.
