Offsety rovinných křivek

Abstract

This thesis deals with the mathematical formalism of B-spline curves and the algo- rithms related to their construction and manipulation, with a particular focus on the computation of offset curves. The main emphasis is placed on rigorous definitions and proofs of key properties of the B-spline representation. The work is primarily based on the book The NURBS Book by Piegl and Tiller and the article Computing Offsets of NURBS Curves and Surfaces.

Tato práce se zabývá matematickým formalismem B-spline křivek a algoritmy souvise- jícími s jejich konstrukcí a manipulací, zejména pak výpočtem offsetových křivek. Hlavní důraz je kladen na rigorózní definice a důkazy klíčových vlastností B-spline reprezentace. Práce vychází zejména z knihy The NURBS Book od Piegl a Tiller a článku Computing Offsets of NURBS Curves and Surfaces.
