Role přechodných pěstounů v současném systému náhradní rodinné péče a jejich motivace k výkonu této péče

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the role and motivation of temporary foster parents in the current foster care system. The aim of the thesis was to clarify what motives lead temporary foster carers to pursue this care and how they perceive their role within the system. In the theoretical part, the system of foster family care in the Czech Republic is first introduced together with its legislative anchorage. Subsequently, transitional foster care is defined in more detail. Attention is also paid to the institutional anchoring of the role of the temporary foster carer and its specifics. The theoretical framework also includes an introduction to the concepts of role and motivation, while taking into account previous research findings in relation to foster care. In order to meet the research objective, a qualitative research method was used for this thesis. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews that were conducted with temporary foster carers. Thematic analysis was used to analyse the data obtained. The results of the research are further discussed in relation to theoretical concepts and existing research findings, allowing for a deeper understanding of the motivations of temporary foster carers and their perceptions of their role in the foster care system. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem role a motivace přechodných pěstounů v současném systému náhradní rodinné péče. Cílem práce bylo objasnit, jaké motivy vedou přechodné pěstouny k výkonu této péče a jak vnímají svou roli v rámci systému. V teoretické části je nejprve představen systém náhradní rodinné péče v České republice společně s jeho legislativním ukotvením. Následně je podrobněji vymezena pěstounská péče na přechodnou dobu. Pozornost je dále věnována institucionálnímu ukotvení role přechodného pěstouna a jejím specifikům. Součástí teoretického rámce je zároveň přiblížení konceptů role a motivace, přičemž jsou zároveň zohledněna dosavadní výzkumná zjištění v souvislosti s pěstounskou péčí. Pro splnění výzkumného cíle byla pro tuto práci využita metoda kvalitativního výzkumu. Data byla získána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, které byly realizovány s přechodnými pěstouny. Pro analyzování získaných dat byla využita tematická analýza. Výsledky výzkumu jsou dále diskutovány v návaznosti na teoretické koncepty a dosavadní výzkumné poznatky, což umožňuje hlubší porozumění motivaci přechodných pěstounů a jejich vnímání role v systému náhradní rodinné péče. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty přínosy této práce společně s formulací možných doporučení do praxe.
