Potřeby mužů pěstounů v dlouhodobé pěstounské péči

Abstract

The text of the thesis is focused on the issue of male foster parents' needs in long-term foster care within the Ústí nad Labem region. The main aim is to identify the conditions and requirements for obtaining foster parent status and to discover the key aspects of a foster parent's role. The theoretical part of the thesis describes substitute family care, family and its functions, the needs of parents and children, foster parents' needs, and their possible saturation by the state and related organizations. Everything is focused on the foster parent in long-term foster care- who they are, what the decision to care for a child in foster care involves, and what rights and obligations the foster parent has. In the practical part, I learned through qualitative research using thematic analysis of the foster care stories of the men addressed, including the joys, hardships, and difficulties they encountered. I also explored what they need to manage their roles and whether they have an overview of the possibilities of saturation of needs and take advantage of these opportunities. Based on the data received, I developed recommendations and suggestions on how and with what to approach or attract new people interested in substitute family care, as well as how to improve or expand support for foster parents....

Text diplomové práce je zaměřen na problematiku potřeb mužů pěstounů v dlouhodobé pěstounské péči ve vybraném regionu Ústeckého kraje. Cílem práce je identifikovat podmínky a požadavky pro získání statusu pěstouna a také zjištění aspektů, které jsou pro roli pěstouna klíčové. V teoretické části práce je popsána náhradní rodinná péče, rodina a její funkce, potřeby rodičů a dětí, potřeby pěstounů a jejich možná saturace ze strany státu a doprovázející organizace. Vše je zaměřeno na pěstouna v dlouhodobé pěstounské péči - kdo to je, co obnáší rozhodnutí pečovat o svěřené dítě, jaká práva a povinnosti pěstoun má. V praktické části bylo formou kvalitativního výzkumu za použití tematické analýzy zjišťováno, jaký je příběh pěstounství oslovených mužů, s jakými radostmi i těžkostmi a obtížemi se setkávají a co potřebovali a potřebují pro to, aby svou roli mohli zvládnout či jestli mají přehled o možnostech saturace potřeb a jestli tyto možnosti využívají. Z analýzy získaných dat byla následně formulována doporučení a tipy, jak oslovit či získat nové zájemce o náhradní rodinnou péči nebo jak zkvalitnit nebo rozšířit péči o pěstouny. Závěr obsahuje shrnutí výsledků a zhodnocení naplnění cílů práce. Napříč výpověďmi se ukazuje, že muži by ocenili podporu či praktické návody při řešení problémů v chování dětí...
