Koncept tělesného hendikepu v české antropologii tělesnosti

Abstract

for a bachelor thesis: Disability in Czech Anthropology, Adéla Košacká This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the concept of physical disability in Czech anthropology of embodiment, through the critical framework of Judith Butler's theory of performativity, disability studies, and crip theory. The aim is to reflect on the ways in which Czech academic discourse constructs embodiment, disability, and bodily normativity. The thesis analyzes selected Czech texts and demonstrates how bodily differences are discursively materialized, performed, and perceived within the context of social norms. Special attention is given to the concept of precarity as structural vulnerability. The results of the analysis suggest that while Czech academic discourse on disability integrates some critical perspectives, it still lacks the full potential of crip theory and a radical critique of normativity. The thesis proposes an interdisciplinary connection of theories of embodiment, disability, and otherness within the Czech context.

k bakalářské práci: Koncept tělesného hendikepu v české antropologii tělesnosti, Adéla Košacká Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu konceptu tělesného hendikepu v české antropologii tělesnosti, a to prostřednictvím kritického rámce teorie performativity Judith Butler, disability studies a crip teorie. Cílem je reflektovat způsoby, jakými český akademický diskurz konstruuje tělesnost, postižení a normativitu těla. Práce analyzuje vybrané české texty a ukazuje, jak jsou tělesné jinakosti diskurzivně materializovány, performovány a vnímány v kontextu sociálních norem. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována konceptu prekarity jako strukturální zranitelnosti. Výsledky analýzy naznačují, že český akademický diskurz o hendikepu integruje některé kritické momenty, avšak plné využití potenciálu crip teorie a radikální kritiky normality zatím chybí. Práce přináší návrh na interdisciplinární propojení teorií tělesnosti, postižení a jinakosti v českém kontextu.
