Abstract

The bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of reproductive rights in Poland with a focus on abortion. The question of reproductive rights has become increasingly urgent in recent years, especially in Poland, where there are strict restrictions on women's right to abortion. By combining quantitative analysis of public opinion data and qualitative analysis of legislative acts, the thesis aims to provide an overview of changes affecting Polish women and the general opinion on the admissibility of artificial termination of pregnancy. The analysis focuses on the period from 1989 to the present, emphasizing significant milestones in legislative development. The thesis will also discuss the influence of the political system and the actors involved in the issue, as well as the distribution of political forces in the Sejm. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the current situation and the development of women's rights in Poland.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou reprodukčních práv v Polsku se zaměřením na interrupce. Otázka reprodukčních práv se v posledních letech stává stále naléhavější, zejména v Polsku, kde dochází k přísným restrikcím vůči právu žen na interrupci. Práce kombinací kvantitativní analýzy dat veřejného mínění a kvalitativní analýzy legislativních aktů se snaží poskytnout přehled o změnách týkajících se polských žen a obecného názoru na připustitelnost umělého přerušení těhotenství. Analýza se zaměřuje na období od roku 1989 do současnosti, s důrazem na významné milníky ve vývoji legislativy. V práci bude rovněž diskutován vliv politického systému a aktérů zainteresovaných v problematice, jakož i rozložení politických sil v Sejmu. Cílem práce je přispět k lepšímu porozumění současné situace a vývoje práv žen v Polsku.
