Podpůrné služby pro ukrajinské studující na Univerzitě Karlově v tíživé socioekonomické situaci v důsledku války na Ukrajině

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zmapování podpůrných služeb poskytovaných ukrajinským studujícím na Univerzitě Karlově, kteří se v důsledku války na Ukrajině nacházejí v tíživé socioekonomické situaci. Cílem práce je porozumět potřebám a zkušenostem těchto studujících a posoudit účinnost podpory, kterou univerzita nabízí. Teoretickým rámcem výzkumu je kritická sociální práce, jež umožňuje reflektovat strukturální překážky a nerovnosti, s nimiž se studující potýkají. Univerzita Karlova je v této souvislosti nahlížena jako akademická komunita, která může sehrát významnou roli při vytváření podpůrného a inkluzivního prostředí. Empirická část práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu realizovaném prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s ukrajinskými studenty a studentkami, kteří na Univerzitě Karlově aktivně vyhledali některou z forem podpory. Výsledky výzkumu poukazují na klíčový význam různorodých forem akademické pomoci při zvládání a zmírňování náročných životních situací. Zároveň odhalují potřebu systematického rozvoje podpůrných služeb, posílení role sociální práce v akademickém prostředí a prohloubení spolupráce mezi univerzitními strukturami a dalšími aktéry, jako jsou státní instituce či neziskové organizace. This diploma thesis focuses on mapping the support services provided to Ukrainian students at Charles University who find themselves in difficult socio-economic situations as a result of the war in Ukraine. The aim of the thesis is to understand the needs and experiences of these students and to assess the effectiveness of the support offered by the university. The theoretical framework of the research is critical social work, which makes it possible to reflect on the structural barriers and inequalities that students face. Charles University is viewed in this context as an academic community that can play a significant role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment. The empirical part of the thesis is based on qualitative research conducted through semi- structured interviews with Ukrainian students who actively sought support at Charles University. The research findings highlight the crucial importance of diverse forms of academic assistance in coping with and alleviating challenging life situations.
